Santa Barbara Zoo

Pete and I visited the Santa Barbara Zoo for the first time over the weekend for our anniversary. We had such a great time and the weather was just perfect. I was impressed because they had so many animals for being such a small zoo. Here are a few of my favorites.


Sleeping sea otters.


Elephants giving themselves a dust bath.

This bird had the coolest mohawk!

Giraffes have the craziest tongues.

This guy looked fake he was so still.

Sleeping lions. The female is so lady-like.

Headless parrots.

The snow leopard is so gorgeous.

Loved the sunlight on the giant paws.

A white handed gibbon playing.

Meerkats are so cute.
